Made a whole bunch of characters for my Fayre Region setting! A lot of these have been planned for ages. Some are new!

I'll write a bit with each close up! So long post... beware!

Some names may change! Gelli might be swapped out for another fairy type... but we'll see.

Team Tera! A paldean Tinkatuff finds herself in the Fayre Region after hearing about the Diamond Domain next to one of the towns. She wants to investigate it, in search of Terastal crystals to see if they can be found outside of Paldea, a quest given to her by a researcher friend. She doesn't have permission to access the Domain... so she must work up in the Guild ranks to prove her worthiness!

She teams up with Gelli, a sweet, shy little Snorunt who's always been too scared to join the guild alone. She is a remake of an old Snorunt OC I never used.

Team Ore. Originally I was gonna pair up Tinkatuff with the Sableye, but after a recent Forretress post, I wanted to make one an OC, cos I love Forretress!!! They're part of the guild too, but they're not very good... they're still very low rank. A silly duo causing some mischief. Jerry is actively seen trying to sneak into the Diamond Domain to eat their diamonds and gems... Walnut on the other hand is a rather silly fella.

Skippy is a simple Skiploom, enjoying the sunny days and exploring the region to his hearts content. Good friend of Bink's!

Arrian is a Falinks who lost his platoon many years ago in a terrible battle... they all left him and got jobs elsewhere!!!! He's a bad captain, and is overly dramatic about losing his platoon. "Oh... how could they leave me so soon... in this cold, cold world... choosing to earn minimum wage instead of ADVENTURE...!" Think Meta Knight meets Zote lmao.

The two staff at a little cafe in the town! I have yet to name the town... I'm bad with names.

Delicia is the owner! Specializing in coffee, tea and biscuits. Galarian style... not Unovan biscuits!!! Sweet lady who's an expert at her craft.

And then Lorette! A shy, kind shiny Dolliv who both acts as a waitress in the cafe, as well as dealing with the savory options. She has a crush on Bink... but after learning of Himemi, she does her best to put her feelings aside to try and help wherever she can. Another good friend of Binks.

This strange figure appeared shortly after Ultra Wormholes started opening up around the region. She does not speak, her actions seem... not her own. While she's caused some havoc and fear through the region, she's more scared of you!

Smosh Wants To Battle!

I've started and restarted this a few times now, but here's the Smosh Fam as Pokemon gym leaders! I just kinda went on vibes when picking everyone's teams...some were easier than others lol...and who knows, I might come back and update this in some way should the inspiration hit 🤷‍♀️

If I were a Pokémon gym leader...

-SPECIALTY: Water Type💦

-OUTFIT: It may not have much to do with my element, but these clothes are similar to the ones I usually wear. Not all gym leaders wear outfits that are related to their types. Plus, they have blue all over them. If anything, you can imagine I'm wearing a swimming suit underneath.

-AESTHETIC (MY VIBES): I may be a water type specialist, but that doesn't mean I spend all day doind activities related to it. I actually prefer to stay at home and chill. However, I do enjoy swimming and it helps that I live next to the sea.

-BATTLEFIELD: Since I couldn't come up with my favorite field, you can look at these examples I found on the Internet and picture it in your mind. All in all, there would be a huge inner pool with different depth levels, with also some space to fight out of the water.

-TEAM:

Draco, the Gyarados. Having one always does you good. The name speaks for itself.

Georgina, the Araquanid. I really like it and wanted some Alola representation. I once had an araquanic in one of my lockes in Pokemon Indigo, so I wanted to honor her here.

Angel, the Lapras. I was gonna pick Milotic but this one can gigantamax so... The name has no explanation. A pretty name for a pretty creature.

Babosa, the Gastrodon. Same. Swampert was going to be in this spot, but I already had chosen one starter. For those who don't know, 'babosa' literally translates into slug.

Pancho, the Ludicolo. The 'lightning rod' pokemon. I think his name needs not a translation.

Alejandro, the Quaquaval. My starter because I like the design and I'm Spanish, and the name because I love Lady Gaga.

-BADGE: Yeah, I know what you're thinking. I had no imagination left at this point.

Well, that was it! What do you think? If you were a pokemon gym leader, what element would you pick? What team would you use? Doing this was so much fun, so I encourage you to do it yourselves. Make up your own team and background.

Mild spoilers for Indigo Disk, but this goes its own direction, based on some conversations with some friends about Kieran’s… direction.

I thought it’d be touching if Team Rocket were the ones to get Kieran out of his funk, allowing the boy to take charge and evolve a bit more, compared to the games which … regresses him somewhat. Going with the two Terapagos idea, this one is in Area Zero, and is the Shiny ✨ variant to keep it distinct from Liko’s. Jessie, James, Meowth and Kieran got the idea to hunt for the mysterious treasure from Briar, who was talking to Ash, Iono, Alfie, Iris and Cilan about it at BBA. Kieran had studied under Blair in this version of events, and knew right where to go to help Team Rocket uncover the ancient treasure.

Afterwards, Kieran and Team Rocket start to bond with Shiny Terapagos, giving Kieran something to make friends with after Ogrepon didn’t … pan out. (Probably a throwaway bit in here probably has Kieran somewhat snidely saying he’s so over Ogrepon and moved on when Alfie and Ogrepon try to talk to him.) Things seem to be going well, until Team Rocket decides to go out for mochi to celebrate…

Really hope they continue keeping on toby fox as a pokemon composer bc g o d. There's a lot of bangers in sv, some he had a part in and some he didn't, but whoever's putting these teams together for the music rn has SUCH good taste

(also I can't stop listening to Toby's sv music lol)

Terapagos' theme is especially good and while I have no idea if he was involved in the arrangement of it or not, it uses multiple leitmotifs of his songs and it's SO GOOD.

(y'all should listen to it if you haven't, it's awesome)

what would be a good nature for fidough? moreover what should my "starter" for this run be? just fidough? or igglybuff? azurill? ralts?

I think those are the only fairy types I can get my hands on near los platos~~ unless I'm missing some~~

hadn't caught anything yet mainly cause I'm too busy lately helping my sibling w stuff to play; and by the time I can, I shouldn't cause I need to be up during the day to help them.

I think azurills nature is going to be adamant w huge power as the ability, wigglytuff too is modest w competitive, ralts also modest w synchronize, fidough, I have no idea at all....

I've got ideas for a team I just don't know if it's any good yet~~~ and I've not used fidough so this'll be interesting~~

I do have a question tho~~ aside from the fidough nature thing~~ or two actually~~

If you catch a pokemon that's tera type matches the type you're running a monotype of, can you use it? or just purely use the type given? thus not being able to use say, a digglett cause it's ground but tera type is fairy, so it's not viable to be used. gym leaders do this tho...

also when do you start "the teal mask" DLC? is it supposed to be end game content? can you start it earlier in the story? when should it be done? last game I did it end game~~ and "the hidden treasure of area zero" is in fact end game content~~
